Social Business Club Where Profit meets Purpose. Shaping a new way to doing Business The Social Business Club believes that purpose-driven companies have the power to resolve current societal issues and to create positive social and environmental impacts whilst making profit. The Social Business Club is a student association founded in 2013 at the University of St. Gallen. Its main role within the university is to raise awareness and sensitize students to the concept of social business, merging the topics of sustainability, new technologies and entrepreneurship, in Switzerland and abroad. Composed of ten assessment and bachelor students, its board can count on the support of an international Advisory Board, including the founders and professors. The association is further supported by various university institutions and research centres such as the Asia-Connect Centre of the University of St. Gallen.
